Shaw Precast plant operations will plan to be open for both shifts on Wednesday March 4, 2026. At this time, we do not foresee needing to close for the second shift. Should we require to, an update will be posted and communicated by 10am, on Wednesday March 4, 2026.
UPDATE: SECOND SHIFT WILL OPERATE AS PLANNED FOR WEDNESDAY MARCH 4TH.
The following was considered when making this decision:
- Employee safety
- Weather and road conditions
- Critical mass for plant operations
- Sufficient time to clear snow to allow plants and yard to operate
- Other relevant information, such as available information from Emera
Snow clearing will take place
This website will be updated no later than 8pm the night before a known potential plant interruption.
