TERRITORY ACCOUNT MANAGER

Our Shaw Brick division is currently looking for a Territory Account Manager for Southwestern New Brunswick. The successful candidate will be and aggressive, driven relationship builder who can work well with contractors and present well in a business environment. We are looking for a person who takes initiative and ownership, has exceptional customer focus and a strong ability to developing new leads. Integrity, vision, and passion are essential for this role.

As an integral part of our sales team the Territory Account Manager will be responsible for:
• Selling Shaw Brick products through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas
• Reaching business targets through relationship building, excellent telephone sales, outside sales and communications skills
• Developing revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
• University or College degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in territory sales
• Extensive knowledge/experience in the industry
• Competency in Lotus Notes, Sales Management Systems and Microsoft Office or equivalent

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the following areas:
• Organizing sales calls and schedules
• Detailed reporting
• Developing and maintaining client relationships
• Developing new sales leads and new accounts
• Eagerness for contributing beyond immediate duties and getting the job done
• Resilient and able to move forward from setbacks

MECHANIC
Maintenance Department
Lantz, NS

We are currently recruiting a MECHANIC to do regular maintenance and service (oil, grease and filter, change tires, belt, etc.) to mobile equipment; to assist licensed mechanics with repairs to mobile equipment; to keep records of service and repairs to equipment; to keep an inventory of materials required for service and maintenance and ensure available when needed; and to keep work area clean and organized. Will be required to perform other duties as assigned

Required qualifications:

• Grade XII or equivalent
• Post-secondary training and/or experience in a mechanical field will be considered an asset
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong sense of safety.
• Applicable safety training will be considered an asset, but may be provided, including Forklift, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, First Aid & CPR, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.
• Ability to work without supervision and to get along well with others
• Good organizational skills
• Appreciation of production environment and the sense of urgency required
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required to accommodate equipment down times

Shaw Resources is currently looking for Plant Safety & Quality Assurance Coordinator for our Belledune, NB operation.

As an integral part of the production team you will have the ability to successfully:
• Create and maintain a safe workplace for all employees
• Coordinate all JOHS meetings and ensure actionable items are captured and executed
• Coordinate quality testing and track results to identify opportunities for continued improvement

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Shaw Resources is currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for our Belledune, NB operation. Reporting to the Site Supervisor you will be responsible for:
• Troubleshooting, problem solving and repair of pneumatic and hydraulic production equipment, including forklifts, loaders and other production equipment.
• Providing advice and support to production employees who carry out preventative maintenance procedures on production equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance on mid-sized or specialized equipment not maintained by production employees.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and keeping the preventative maintenance system up to date and accurate.
• Working with and supports Production Employees and Supervisors with troubleshooting, problem solving, repair, and maintenance of the Plant and production equipment.
• Other mechanical duties as may be required to support and maintain production.

You will have the following qualifications:
• Minimum three years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in a production environment.
• Welding background is required.
• Competent in computer skills, including the use of e-mail and the internet.

Consideration with be given to Apprentice and candidates with trade related experience.

You have a strong knowledge and practice of safe work habits and procedures at all times
You are exceptional with machining and precision measurement skills, mechanical trouble shooting and problem solving skills. You are customer focused and understand how to prioritize and multi-task with a sense of urgency when required. You are a team player and use your interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with your customers and your team.
